Welcome to In Over Your Heads, a website with the intention of giving understanding and resources to help people who have found themselves in over their heads in debt.
Who am I?
My name is Karin and I am a wife, a mom and a grandma. Currently my spouse and I are raising one of our grandchildren. She is awesome! All of our grandchildren are, though!
I work for a newspaper as a reporter and web designer. I am also an affiliate marketer who has seen some success in doing that. I will explain in a future post what affiliate marketing is if you don’t already know.
I am a “regular” person who believes in the power of people helping people. I believe that I can help some people who may be struggling with debt and ways to get out of debt.
Why I believe I can help
First off, let me tell you that I am not a financial planner, banker, accountant or anything of the sort. I am a regular person who found herself deep in debt after college and had no way to get myself out of it except through filing bankruptcy
While that appeared to be a “good” solution at the time, it really messed up my credit for many years afterward. (Don’t believe that fallacy that things “straighten out” in seven years after you file bankruptcy. It took longer for me and for other people I know who went through it.)
I believe I can help in offering other solutions to you outside of filing bankruptcy. I believe I can because I have been where you are and now have a pretty good credit score! It was not achieved easily, however. It took time, patience and a conscious effort on my part.
I invested in myself in many ways over the years to bring about the financial changes I wanted to see in my life. I also worked very hard.
The goal of my site is to help you be able to help yourself
I can’t fix your financial woes, but I can give you some direction to go in that can help you help yourself do so. That is what this site is about.
I will offer advice and assistance in several ways one of which will be teaching you about affiliate marketing and how it can help give you financial peace of mind.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
